As someone who has lost many people in my family, this book was hard to listen to with all the MANY details on what happens to a body once the funeral home has possession of the body. I admit I had to FF a few times. Other than that, it was a story about one family’s journey through life and death amid the Spanish Influenza of 1918. Each person had their own story to tell.
