Gets better as it goes unsure if I’ll buy book 2. I like the overall plot and narration a lot more than the main char who seems like a spoiled rich kid with everything handed to him both “in game” and “irl”. If the antagonists were anything other than 1 dimensional evil villains, I’d root for them as the MCs dad made the game so he gets to make up his own spells and have super uber loot drop using the power of my rich daddy pwns this game? meh
