look the story was fun, not great but fun in book 1.
book 2 started out promising, but clumsy writing made me unable to continue.
let me explain. they spend less time on the marriage of the two main characters, than they do on explaining to aliens why they should love gays, and their new drag queen friend.
look I don’t my gay characters, I don’t mind drag characters. what I do mind is the scrapping of important character moments to make room for talking about how the advanced societies are bad for their distaste for gays. Who the fuck wants to read that?
