I’ve been listening to this genre for about ten years and have listened to just about every accomplished author and narrator. This book takes the cake, it’s the best of the best to which I’ve listened. Franklin is one of the best and I’ve listened to all of his series. His merging of two lead characters from two different series in this book was spectacular. And the fashion in which he did it, especially their actual meeting each other, was breathtaking. Kudos to Mr Horton for a fantastic book. An as usual, Kevin has no equal, tremendous job. I just listened to last Borrowed World book prior to this one, in which the Mad Mick was hinted at. It amazes me how Kevin could have these two lead characters conversing and each sound distinctively like they do in each of their own series. Not sure anyone else can do that.
