With all the seriousness of daily life, finding a series like this to help lift your spirits is invaluable. There are som many funny moments, so many ridiculous things that happen, that it is a wonderful escape from the grind. There is also just enough seriousness to move the plot, but mostly these stories move mouths in a smiling position.
Having heard dozens of Jeffrey Kafer’s audiobooks, he does his best work in this series. He seems more in tune with Gary, AKA Merciless, than any other character from either series or stand alone stories. He really nails it!
