Earlier in the series the story and the MC were entertaining despite the numerous annoying secondary chars. In this book the MC has one reaction to everything sigh then whine and moan. I think we’re supposed to feel sorry for the depressed sad sack MC with God like powers surrounded by women obsessed with him. To make matters even worse the antagonist uses dreams to attack so there are a lot of pointless dream and nightmare sequences.
