This book has great parts, but half a dozen chapters out of nearly a hundred isn’t a good book.
There are a lot of side stories. About half of them are worth listening to. The rest are skip able.
For obvious reasons… no one likes Zack. He is a narcissistic hypocrite with a bleeding heart. He can’t stand the injustice of the world, but it is only okay to kill when he does it. He doesn’t like other people deciding what is wrong or right, but wants to be more powerful so that he can force other people to follow his morality. Luckily he has one redeeming feature… he was a friend of the MC, Ryun.
I would recommend dropping the series here, or at the very least skipping this book. You might miss some plot, but it isn’t worth your time or money. The series just gets worse.
