I can only think of a few issues I had with this story. It’s slow. Like really slow. There is action but they are far in between, most of the story is just information about how the magic system in this world works. It is a interesting system, but damn I get it! You don’t have to keep telling me the same concepts. There are a few others that are mostly nitpicks, but I don’t want to spoil anything. All in all, the good outweigh the bad. The characters are interesting, the reader is top notch, the MC is a decent human being which is rare in there type of stories, and I’m eager for more.
