Mari Carr is an excellent author. Shorter stories are hard to make believable, but this was perfectly written. I love brother’s best friend and childhood friendship tropes. These characters are easy to like, add a great storyline, and this was an audiobook I didn’t want to pause!
Conner Brown and Lee Daniels are excellent narrators. They brought this audiobook to life with emotional performances that had it rolling like a movie in my head. Perfection.
