A little on the short end for an audiobook for me but the story didn’t waste a lot of time with much filler. It quickly establishes the world, sets up the narrative and then dunks you right into the middle of the plot while keeping enough hooks to make you want the next novel. I didn’t think there were major issues with the plot and I’m excited to learn more about the world and system that’s been set up in the novel.
This is the first time hearing this narrator and I have to say I’m impressed. He was definitely a solid choice and has a lot of range and potential. I look forward to see what more he brings to this series and series to come.
