Kevin Pierce’s narration is as per usual, fantastic!
As for the storyline…more of Ragus’ and Shannon’s life before the Mad Mick comes out. Shannon shows more than ever how her self-centeredness makes her the weakest link. Barb is coming more and more into her own as assignments with Connor cause her to utilize all of her skills while gaining more. There are some losses, some gains and two plots full of action running parallel to each other. Never heard of Jim from the Borrowed World series before, so I’ll be starting that before moving ahead since Jim and Mick are soon to meet. Sad ending but still excellent!!
