This series just isn’t the same as the original. an attempt at bringing a deeper origin story for our Ramsey and Brown epic just falls flat. I love this series but this backstory is just flat on its back.
The auio performance was on point. very enjoyable to hear consistency with the narrator which is frankly one of the few saving graces.
It is incredibly inclusive. From POC getting revenge on ancient foes to trans friendly moments where bold action is done to get what the would be sister needed to come out for a while safely without parents knowing. If I’m not mistaken there was even a blind individual. Brad even ages some impressively bold admissions. This series is really doing it’s best to include everyone but falls short. The characters are flat and the moments ham fisted in.
Would not recommend. If I could get my money back I would but I’ve listened to enough of it as a loyal fan that I don’t think it can be returned. It’s really terrible.
