this is one of the few authors that I’ve come across writing books like this that seems to be able to nail down the opener of a Trilogy or series without any kind of issue. it is a connected universe when it comes to the trilogies under this pen name for any of those of you reading this review and are not aware. this is as far as I can tell the second Trilogy with the first being other life. it appears that the first book of each trilogy doesn’t have any of the connected elements. I expect that this one is no difference and will include them in the next book. lastly but certainly not least the narrator has done a fantastic job. I’ve greatly enjoyed his work and I’m sad too say that for whatever reason he only worked with this author at least under this pen name for the first four books. Which means this trilogy has a narrator change when moving over to book 2. I am unfamiliar with the new narrators work so I cannot say one way or another how he did but I’m hopeful.
