The main character and story are not that good so far. Currently on early part of book three. Not sure if I will finish this series.
The characters can just respawn so no lasting consequences to the characters. The main character goes overboard with being an ass towards people who were born to wealth.
Further the main character’s choice of how to progress his build is garbage. He’s like a poor jack of all trades except in the beginning being overpowered via DM fiat. Later he loses the DM fiat and is just mediocre.
The only saving grace is the narrators do an amazing job.
