I’m an Audible regular. Recently I felt like I had reached a dead end with all my usual self-help and romance books,so I had begun reading the all the top rated books to mix things up a bit. I had no idea what this book was about and it took me a few chapters to really grasp the age difference. There were some extremely difficult parts to listen to, the author however did an amazing job with the storyline. I was fully engrossed throughout the whole story, and that’s what great writing should do. We don’t have to support or agree with the character choices/storyline/plot. Writing is an art form, it should move you and there is a topic or niche for all things. Personally, it reminded me of how different life is for everyone and the real importance of family and parenting.
