I’d heard lots of recommendations for this series and how great it is… and sure, it is incredibly well done and performed and it’s definitely well written… but the charm was just unexpected. It is so charmingly clever, funny, filled with action, and all while being somehow very deep. This feels like it makes good on the promises of fantastic game-style stories that always fall through with some sort of disappointment or another. Nothing about this is ever that kind of immature drama of others. Now I’m busy devouring everything that comes next!
