I read the ebook edition for this when it first came out a couple of years ago, and found it pretty fun and gruesome. When offered the chance to listen to it (which is how I consume most books these days), I was reluctant at first, as it was fairly fresh in my mind. I decided to go for it anyway and was delightfully surprised at how fresh, yet familiar, it was the second time.

Still the same fun romp through a murderous town, Sean Duregger’s narration gave it a fresh pop, with well defined characters (and for a small story, there are a lot of one-off players), and an fast pace that matched the story’s frenzied unfolding.

I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
