Screenplay!

I can’t believe I finished the book in one day! This has to have a screenplay as a follow-up. I would be so wrong not to turn it into a movie. So rare that one of the main characters, a lesbian, and an Asian woman as a love interest. Also, having an interracial relationship is written in a book. Thank you to the author for having something that represented a beautiful love story.

I read some of the egghead reviews about it being a slow burn and complaining about Jo. I wonder if those people know anything about “Asians.” I get that people have this generalized view of Asian women being freaks in bed based on American culture objectifying Asian women. Jo’s behavior of being conservative and always concerned about how people view them is more true to form! Kudos to the writer for recognizing this and maybe doing some sort of research about how to properly portray Asian women. Even if we live in America, it doesn’t mean we lose our culture and the values we were raised in.
