Science Fantasy. This is a fun book. It starts out with this man in a fighting arena. It’s a common trope. I’ve seen it in Angel, Supergirl, Star Wars, and so many others. But it’s a good trope. He’s never been to any other world before, or at least, never seen any other world. He’s a slave, and confined to his quarters. He gets his hundred victories and is supposed to be freed.
Well, that doesn’t happen.
This is full of magic, space battles, unique species/aliens, and a ton of fun. I enjoyed it. I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite book, but it’s definitely a 4 Star in my book.
