I loooved learning Sawyer’s story more and getting to see below his layers. He comes off as this gruff grouchy no fun stick in the mud but it is all just a way for him to cope with the loss he has suffered. Loss hits people in so many different ways- His is to be overprotective of all those around him. I looove that Juliet gets him and that together they find a balance.
This series- I have fallen head over heals for the Landry’s. I say each book, this is my favorite- then the next comes out and I eat my words. Each book being focused on a new couple with new amazing narrators perfectly suited to these character has created this wonderful little world I can get lost in. I want to be a Bayou girl!!! (If you can keep all the Alligators away!)
The narration was perfect- The narrators got these characters, understood them and personified them! The brought Sawyer and Juliet to life in all the best ways. Wonderful job!
