I enjoyed the first few books, there was a real sense of progression in them. This one, not so much. It feels like the author was rushed to wrap it up half way through the book. I’ll listen to the next one, but if that continues I might give up on the series as whole. It’s one thing for an author to imagine a series in multiple volumes, it’s another to split it halfway just so he can sell more individual books.
