Sacrifice, Zed’s World Book 4 is a great continuation to the series. The Puckett’s, D-day and all the gang are back and the confrontation between the Puckett’s and the Monteiro’s is on the horizon. As in many zombie books that span many books they do become somewhat of background threat as other groups of humans become a bigger threat, but they definitely do raise their heads and make their presence known.

It is a very entertaining book with tons of action and it was very well paced and has enough variety with the story being told about the different groups in the book, the puckett’s, monteiros, the army and Danny his wife and Naomi’s journey. The story is pushed forward, character’s are lost, character’s survive and persevere. The ending has a bit of an interesting surprise that will have a very interesting impact on any future books in the series and am interested in seeing what direction they go in.

The narration by Andrew Wehrlen is great once again and having listened to many books narrated by him it has come to be expected by me that it will always be an enjoyable experience. Overall I would definitely recommend this book but if you haven’t listened to 1 thru 3 definitely give those a listen to first.
