I had high hopes for this audiobook, but it was incredibly rushed, it had insta-love and seriously why are you talking about how you’re going to decorate your future house and what to name your future dog on your first date??? Albeit, they do get married like two days later, but I feel like that was mostly so that Adam didn’t have to break his vows of not having sex until after he’d married. It was incredibly rushed and the theme of the book didn’t really work either. I don’t get how Adam is supposed to be the Beast and Belle is an outsider because she doesn’t cut hair properly. The best characterised was actually Gaston, while not a brilliant villain, did seem to have a motivation for his actions, which was money.
