The title basically says it all. What with the way the last book ended, the long wait between the previous book and the last, and with how slow and frustrating the first few hours of this book were, I was about ready to give up on the series. I only kept going because I have leaving books unfinished after I star them. I’m certainly glad I did. Once the book started picking up the pace instead of making sure we know exactly how frustrated and conflicted Lindon felt about his lost match, I really enjoyed it. It’s still not my favorite in the series, but it’s not my least favorite. That dubious honor goes to the last book, thanks to that horrific ending.
