I love novellas, and I especially love them when they are romantic suspense! Casey Hagen has given us Nebraska, an American Indian actress in need of a bodyguard. She is outspoken about issues she feels passionate about and seems to have gotten herself in a little trouble. Slyder Ward, is brought in to keep her safe, but finds out he cannot keep his hands off her! Will his feelings get in the way of his job? Does she feel the same? Will trouble keep following her? I love Nebraska. That girl has sass! She is passionate, and unapologetic! Slyder is the one you want guarding you. Protective and irresistible, he will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. Action packed, steamy and a surprise you are not ready for! It’s a great short and you will want to grab it!
Ada Sinclair and Matt Patterson bring it all to life with a fantastic narration. Sinclair has just the right amount of sass in her voice to portray Nebraska without being over the top. She adds a hint of vulnerability but never gives up that sense of stubbornness. Patterson is alpha male all the way and brings it out in Slyder. This is a great team and a great listen!
