I loved everything about this ghost story. The main characters are unique and loveable. I read some reviews stating they disliked the backstory of the mcs but I loved it. It’s a romance primarily about a man who inherits a spooky house and a psychic medium he’s drawn to that helps him figure out the houses history. Joel, as usual, did amazing with narration and it was the perfect balance of plot, intrique, romance and spookiness. This is my first time finding spooky story that’s based more on the romance side and I have to say I love it. Don’t go into thie JUST wanting horror. It’s not just that. It’s a romance first, spooky story next. I’ve read nearly everything this author has published and have to say she’s one of ny favorite mm authors and this story did not disappoint.
