I could have taken the change in reader (even if it was an adjustment) if this reader didn’t sound so robotic. I even tried speeding it up a tiny bit to see if that helped; it didn’t. I love these books, they got me through a difficult postpartum period. I don’t think I can continue to listen to them with this reader. I gave it 3 stars overall for the change in setting and some focus on horses-I liked the change. I am so disappointed to lose this series, though.
