- Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
- I would definitely recommend this book to vampire lovers and non-vampire lovers, alike. The story is one that all can relate too. The characters are believable, and you are drawn to both of the main characters.
- Who was your favorite character and why?
- Sabina and Remy are both my favorites. Sabina is a young woman with the world awaiting her. Unfortunately her parents have already locked apart of her life for her in advance. Sabina struggles with this, and that is very understandable. Remy is the sexy, smart, vampire that unfortunately has closed his heart due to a hurt past. His master has sealed the deal for him as well, with Sabina. When they finally meet, it’s hard to turn away from this hateful dance. Sabina wants love, passion, and to see the world, not to be betrothed to anyone. Remy is resistant and a purposeful irritant in her life, because it’s fun. I don’t want to spoil anything, but this is a page turner.
- Have you listened to any of Joel Froomkin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
- This is a my first experience with Froomkin; moreover I will be a fan from this book forward.
- Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
- Oh yes, when they finally take down their walls and confess their feelings for one another. Sabina becomes so vulnerable, and I could completely feel what the author described.
- Any additional comments?
- The books are a bargain for such a lovely love story between vampire and human. I am off to book two.
