A well written and researched book on serial killer Joshua Wade, a cold-hearted murderer that initially got away with ending the life of a thirty three year old mother, brutalizing her in a shed. Francis interviews the mother of the victim, and allows the listener to feel the grief she dealt with over the years. The author probes Wade’s troubled up bringing, and illustrates how Wade seemed to remain one step ahead of the authorities and demonstrated a weaknesses in our justice system. “Ice and Bone” is easily one of the best authored books on a serial killer, and avoided being repetitive. Kevin Pierce delivers his customary superb narration. This is a highly recommended true crime book!
