This is a sad story of loss – multiple losses at that – and how to over come them, life does go on. It’s an age gap story of two men that have to deal with that loss in their own rights and how that impacts each other. Even with the sad story it grips you by the heart and pulls you in. You get invested with these men and want all the best for them. I couldn’t put this story down. I wanted them to have their HEA so badly and was happy with how that was achieved.

After reading this story, I enjoyed how Rick Reed too such a sad story and created a journey for these two men and then gave them a HEA. After listening I updated my rating because this story is really just that good. This is my first David Allen Vargo narration. I loved his calm cadence and thought it went really well with the story line. I thought his voice was perfect Rob, however, I felt sometimes Jasper’s voice didn’t sound young enough. All in all, I really enjoyed this one!
