After the last book in this series which was very dark and which I rated as below average, the author has returned to what I enjoy about his books. They are upbeat and full of good people helping and caring for each other. No blazing guns or unbridled mayhem or gratuitous sex.
As a negative, the story is a bit predictable.
However, in the world of Earth 2021, an easy, light, comfortable read of people caring about others is a real joy to this old man.
I am starting the final book in the series, OWENER’S SHARE, and if it goes as I expect, I can only hope the author finds a way to continue the story.
