Not as much attention was given to the action in comparison to the repetitive confessions of love and support. I get the guy was traumatized, but I didn’t need him to keep telling me and the other characters as opposed to the actual confrontations with bad guys that was glazed over. And I kept feeling like I’d read this story many times before. The only real positive thing I can find to say is if this was an outline, the author at least touched on all the plot points. Honestly, I just finished listening to it, and I’ve already forgotten the characters except for Harlow.
