Relatable (?) idiot

I bought this one on a lark, expecting a satire or a comedy and it delivered in many ways.

The MC is an idiot who believes himself much smarter than he actually is, who tries his best to be the hero. A goofy, somewhat loveable, mindbogglingly idiotic at times but still a bit relatable goofball.

This might turn out to be a fun lightweight of a series, but with a big dollop of bumbling in the dark.
