Reasonable idea, unfortunate writing.

This review is for the first three books in the series. I found it all somewhat ragged and all over the place. Bits of action, bits of stream of consciousness. It never gelled for me. Never became a story. It came close, but there’s too much reliance on inescapable close calls that are miraculously escaped… not enough real story telling.
