I know, I know, why did I buy this if that was the case? The description made it sound like this was going to focus on the science fiction aspects of being in a virtual world (think “The Matrix”) but instead it was the same old LitRPG stat build-up slog. It started to get a teeny more interesting by the end, but then of course it ended. Plus, the whole harem-building aspect (all of the NPC’s the main character “converts” are female) is a little creepy. At least there was no overt sex unlike some other similar LitRPG titles.
