I will admit that the beginning of this book was rough for me, but I am so glad I continued because it was so sweet and I loved it.

Magnus was an older fellow in his 50’s who really liked younger guys who never had more than one night stands and he meets Laurie, in his 40’s who is an artist and basically the complete opposite of Magnus, except for relationships.

Both of them were dingdongs who fell in love with each other but could not just talk to each other like grownups.

Their ode to love for each other was a painting from Laurie and a mixed tape (omg so awesome) which finally gave them the kick to the tush to get them together finally.

Joel Leslie’s narration was a bit rough for me on this one. I dunno if it was the accents or not, but he got so much better by the end of the book.
