I was so intrigued by the concept of this book that I looked up the name and I found out it is based on historical events. However, this book takes it to a whole other level.
This is an intensely interesting story set during WWII, about the Germans trying to create a master race. What they don’t anticipate is Kapp. He is a member of one of the all black platoons sent in on the front lines. I won’t say anymore so as not to spoil anything, but it is definitely worth a read.
