It kind of reminds me a little bit of Iron Man but, more magically inclined rather than purely tech.
I have one gripe about the book hence the minus one star. This is a personal gripe in terms of my tastes in fantasy preferences and is not about being poorly written or something being stupid. That being said; I genuinely don’t like component based magic. I.e dried animal feces mixed with the hair of a mythical haired pigeon and blessed tears of a demon; made into a paste and applied to the forehead to cast (insert spell here). I made this up, but I’m not particularly exaggerating. To me, this is alchemy, not magic.
If it weren’t for this book being really good, I would have moved on from this title. However, I thoroughly enjoyed it and intend to read the next book.
