Really enjoyed both the story and the performance. At the beginning Hays’ voice was a bit off putting but I quickly grew to like him and his portrayal of Carl (although Hays had a few moments where he sounded very similar to Patrick Warburton, so there were times I could not get Kronk out of my head lol).
I don’t read a lot of LitRPGs, so I’m sure this isn’t a groundbreaking plot. However, it was a really fun story and left me wanting to know what’s in store for Carl and the Princess. Plus, the fact that it doesn’t take itself too seriously gives the author the freedom to be silly while also keeping with the theme he’s established.
