I’m going to be one of those people who write the line “I don’t know how this book got positive reviews”.
I don’t like the whole “I own you” type of book. People are not property and I don’t care if their is a soul mate situation, don’t go there.
Let’s touch on the point that this girl just found out that the man she was in love with died 800 years ago and she just tried to kill herself. Now some guy she doesn’t know is pawing all over her and claiming she belongs to him. Then not even two weeks after her whole world was turned around she is in bed with him for the LONGEST sex scene in the history of literature.
Needless to say I didn’t finish the book.
