What I appreciate most about this book is that it felt realistic. It didn’t present a fantasy, it didn’t suggest there is one tech fix, it presented familiar resistance, technical questions and failure. So the fact that they found a route, gives me a little hope it might be possible to find a way to survive. And not in a post-apocalyptic way. I appreciate that this book taught me so much about approaches that are being discussed. The thing hardest for me to believe is that we have as much time as suggested.
