Honestly, it was a realistic take on how the world could move the needle in a positive direction with global warming and what it looks like on the personal level – the author takes does an excellent job showing us what change looks like at the top of the food chain down to the bottom.
It is very optimistic, and at times a bit outrageous and unbelievable – the main character acts like a real human being and actually cares about her responsibility and position at the ministry she directs, it makes me hopeful more world leaders act and make decision with more integrity like her. That’s the part that felt unbelievable, that someone in her position of power would actually work for the better of mankind and not their own selfish gain, but she stays true through the entire story.
The author does a great job of pulling you into the minutia of the science and explains it rather well, all while weaving a story around it to keep you engaged. It’s infotainment at its best.
Thank you for the wonderful book and may your work inspire many to make a difference in their own lives and community.
