As with the print version of Alone in the Light, the story is deeply emotional, pulling the reader into a very human story impacted by PTSD. Yet, the story is so much more than that. It is about people, two lives coming together in love only to lose each other due to trauma. Then, find each other again in pain, seeking the healing they both desperately needs.

Both narrators do a fabulous job of bringing this story to life, and I appreciate the use of two voices to communicate these two separate stories that diverge, then converge again as a result of one unifying incident.
