The author didn’t plagiarise the entirety of Ready Player One because I’m sure he picked another book in the massive LIT-RPG genre to mix it with but come on. In Ready Player One the main character is even Z… The plagiarism asside, the characters are hollow, there is no surprises and the story runs exactly like you expect. honestly a sad rip off of one of my favorite books and it just made me more and more angry the more I read.
