The chapters just drag on. The author “tells”, not “shows” and it makes the book sound like it was written by a novice. Since there are entire paragraphs of straight info dumping with little to no story progression, it gives a real static feel to the storytelling. Basically, it’s boring. Also, I really don’t like the undulating voice of the narrator. All in all, I couldn’t finish the book, however if shifterxdragon is what you’re after, I guess put up with all of the above and there you go. I wouldn’t recommend this book.
