Overall a good LGBT+ book especially if you love Supernatural stories.
I enjoyed the characters and emotions that this book shared. I am excited to read the others for that alone. I didnt enjoy the repetitiveness of the writing that was hard to get through. And while this is a book about the supernatural some of the choices made by the characters felt unbelievable after the characters were fully developed. I wanted more from Ox then just to hear about what his daddy told him every three chapters. By the end I was left satisfied though so I think the book was good beyond those complaints. Oh and the spicy scenes caught me off guard completely like dang wasn’t expecting that probably should’ve.
Really I think that this book would have been a better experience if I just read rather than listened to it. This was my first TJ Klune book and I’m going to read the rest of this series.I hope they get better as I get further in the series.
If you love gay books, you love supernatural stories, then you should read the book. What else are you doing?
