I have so many mixed feelings about this book. I’m not a big fan of Daddy kink but I’ve enjoyed reading a few of those. Unfortunately, this one doesn’t hit it quite right for me. Maybe it’s because of how Poe acts out.. it really made him act like a young punk kid with attitude issues. He was unmotivated, lazy and entitled. It took a while for me to warm up to him. Same with Blue, that kid. ???‍♀️
I felt like Jericho deserved so much more. He’s a really great guy.
Nevertheless, I like the theme of the book, of giving somebody a fighting chance to get out of their own way and go for their passion.
I love that it’s all about art. I enjoyed Kirt Graves’ narration. He’s always an automatic buy for me.
