As a big RPG gamer and a long time fantasy and sci-fi reader, the story got me hooked instantly. (I’m actually on the 3rd book now) The performance of Jeff Hays on the audiobook raises the bar too high that I was actually supposed to read/listen to a different book/audiobook (yes, I dual wield) after I finished book 1, but I did not find the experience as immersive, thus, I’m on book/audiobook 3 now.
