4 Stars for the Narrator.
I love Kirt. He is one of my favorite narrators but it did take me a while to warm up to his take on the characters. I was used to the other narrator’s voice from book 1.
4.5 stars for the story
The detective, Rain, who also happens to be a medium is back at it again. This time helping solve a case that has been open for 10 years. While doing so his personal relationship, with Danny, seems to be flourishing but his sleep seems to be lost. Trying to find a balance has become a struggle one that Rain is determined to overcome.
Overall a solid read that I really enjoyed.
