Overall it was a fun, light-hearted mystery that was mostly well-written. My only complaints are that the MC and primary protagonist lean far too heavily on tropes and cliches. Namely, the MC fails to show any real growth by making the same interpersonal mistake multiple times and the antagonist is painfully one dimensional. Full-on delusional, evil zealot type. It almost wraps around to being funny after a while. I will be continuing with the series, but I do hope for a bit of improvement.
